RHS Garden Centre Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1. The Royal Horticultural Society with registered charity number 222879/SC038262 of 80 Vincent Square, London, SW1P 2PE (the RHS) is the promoter of the prize draw. 

2. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the RHS, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.

3. Upon completion of the RHS Garden Centre survey hosted by Trueology Ltd, you will be eligible entered into the prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. There is a limit of one entry per person.

4. All entries must be submitted via the Trueology survey, either onsite or via https://surveys.trueology.com/s3/RHS-Garden-Centres-On-site-survey

5. The prize draw runs from midnight on 13th June 2024 (the Opening Date) to midnight on 25th June 2024 (the Closing Date). Entries received after this time will not be valid.

6. A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process in the week of 1st July (Draw Date).

7. The winner will receive a £200 RHS gift voucher to be used at one of our Garden Centres. 

8. Any incomplete entries will not be considered valid for the prize draw. The RHS and Trueology accepts no responsibility for any entries which are not completed due to technical interruption, fault, site failure or any other reason.

9. The winner will be notified by email (using the details provided at entry) by 5th July 2024 and must provide an email address to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond to Trueology/RHS within 10 working days of being notified by Trueology, then the winner's prize will be forfeited. Trueology/RHS will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

10. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

11. The decision of the RHS regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

12. The RHS must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Trueology will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails research@trueology.com  within one month after the Closing Date. If you object to either or both of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact Trueology at research@trueology.com. In such circumstances, Trueology must still provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

13. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. Trueology/RHS reserves the right to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

14. Trueology/RHS reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

15. Insofar as is permitted by law, the RHS, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the RHS, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

16. The prize draw is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

17. Privacy Statement: Unless you have chosen to receive other information from us, your personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will be used by the RHS and Trueology for the purpose of running the prize draw, including contacting the winner and distributing the prize, and as set out in condition 12 regarding the announcement of the winner. The personal data of all entrants will be kept for a period of 60 days from the Closing Date and then deleted.
